The Customs of the Republic of Lithuania receives on average 150,000 import declarations and 330,000 export declarations per year. Today, approx. 98% of all declarations are submitted in electronic form. In total, the amount of customs duties, excise duties and VAT accounted for exceeds 2 billion litas.

Customer benefits:

The Tax Accounting and Control Information System, which ensures the performance of the tax administration and control function, was developed and implemented. The system is currently used by 300 officials and their number is constantly growing.

Centralized management of debts, contributions and payments as well as management of guarantee obligations enabled to simplify and reduce operating expenses for tax payers.
