UAB Kauno Termofikacijos Elektrinė supplies 95% of overall heat demand of the Kaunas city. Electricity is transmitted to the electrical network of AB Lietuvos Energija, where it is subsequently distributed to Lithuanian customers. KTE generates approx. 4,200 MWh of heat and 2,800 MWh of electricity per day.
